SWEETNESS OF WILD
is an episodic poetic film experience that is a love letter to Black life, queerness, creativity, biking, laughter, and the sweetness and wildness of Minneapolis. This project features a beautiful and talented cast that delve into the nuances of Blackness living on Dakota land, in the sensuous divinity of Prince, and in the cosmic unfurling of love.

Sweetness of Wild is a coming-of-age poetic film series based in Black Minneapolis. This series with humor and complexity situates itself in the renaissance of Black Minneapolis that is sweetly and radically being defined by Black Lives Matter activism, unrepentant feminism, hood life, queerness, poverty transcendence, experimental Black music, compelling visual and performance art and urban bike culture.
